Profile Organization: My Direct Democracy Title: Founder, Political Consultant Biography: Jerome Armstrong is a pioneer in utilizing internet technology to alter the political debate in the United States. Armstrong became active in politics shortly after the 2000 presidential election. He is widely credited with developing one of the first progressive blogs, MyDD, and was a major part of the Internet strategy team of the Dean 2004 campaign. Before he dropped out the race, Armstrong was working for Gov. Mark Warner's PAC, Forward Together.
